The Gravitor is a power plant based on the antigravity technology or, to be more precise, it was a newer form of DCG sphere exploitation.
Its walls, except for the rounded top, are completely transparent, and inside it more than a thousand gravitation spheres, of differing sizes, circle. At its base energy is supplied by a driven generator.
There was only one Gravitor I prototype manufactured, but it was further developed following the coordinated sabotage campaign of an unknown organization that paralyzed the seven different power distribution depots resulting in a three hour blackout in Excolopolis. This event was the catalyst for ASEC management increasing the pace of research and development, resulting in the first commercial version of the Gravitor II type being installed in Athens a short while later. There was also an unforeseen and frightening side effect of this event.
